If this is your first time hiring a photographer, we want to make sure you get the best experience possible. Our team will make sure you feel comfortable + more importantly, make sure your session is everything you dreamed of.
Although we want to capture some timeless images, making you look and smile on demand is not exactly our style. Whether this is a lifestyle family session, an in-hospital Fresh 48, or your wedding day, we want your images to capture as much emotion and detail as possible. We will guide you when the moment is right but the beauty in our session unfolds naturally. We wont stand behind a camera and count to 3. We want your images to capture more than that. We truly don't believe the 'perfect portrait' is created on command. Some of our most treasured work consists of the little moments + in betweens. The details that tell your story. Raw, real emotions. We want you to look back and 'feel' your images for decades to come.

"Dani was amazing! We used her to shoot both our engagement and wedding photos. She delivered a gallery filled with so many amazing shots! Dani was super easygoing and really listened to what Kyle and I saw as the vision for our wedding. We mostly communicated via email given that I live in Albany but was getting married in Skaneateles. She was always responsive and gave helpful suggestions on other vendors and planning the day of timeline. What a simple-yet very difficult questions to answer. Rich color tones, clean smooth lines, minimalistic, warmth + depth. Style conveys many meanings. When it comes to capturing the images: authentic + real. As far as Dani's editing style goes: she is neither "light + airy" or "moody". She is a little mix of both. Her images convey the talent of dancing along the fine line between two very opposing styles.

These services are included: – All pictures in high resolution (for printing) and web resolution (for websites/devices) – A personal online gallery. For additional packages and detailed information please complete the contact form on this page.
There is a $900 deposit required to save your wedding date. Payments can be made throughout the wedding planning process. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the wedding. Once you are ready to secure your date, Dani will email you an electronic proposal with attached contract. You will e-sign and payment can be made through credit on the link. Cash or check are also accepted.

How is your style concerning editing? Is black/white possible?
Your personal online gallery is launched when your gallery is complete. These pictures will be ready for download without watermarks, without extra costs. The gallery can be made to have password protection if you would prefer. You are welcome to share the gallery with your family and friends and your images can be downloaded indefinitely.
Regarding albums and prints, YES! We love printed photos and even more photo albums. For detailed information you can write us an e-mail at any time. We offer Hardcover linen albums with layflat pages and options to deboss lettering on the cover. Of course you can make a decision to purchase after your wedding.
How does the online gallery work? Can we order albums or prints?
Please allow 8-10 weeks for all weddings to be fully edited and delivered + 2-3 weeks for all family, newborn, lifestyle, or senior portraits to be complete. Dani spends hours upon hours meticulously editing every image to her standard. She will however send you sneak peaks along the way so keep your eye on the gram + fbook! Rush turnaround is available for an additional charge upon request.
We are happy to edit your photos in a natural and warm style. You can see the style of our editing on our page. Some pictures will be black and white – when it fits to the motive.
How long after our session will we get to see our images?

We work with all professional Equipment. We top of the line Nikon products. This equipment is combined with different fixed lenses. Of course we also use flashes if necessary; however, we prefer natural light.
You will receive the best photos of your wedding day. The number of photos varies based on the hours booked. Clients can expect anywhere from 500-2000+ images.

I don't think I will ever forget the day I decided to pursue my passion of photography and I told my best friend I was "going to be a photographer". I also remember feeling a bit lost, having no idea where to start or how to grow a photography business from the ground up. So I did what I knew best - studied and learned by watching hours of youtube videos, listened to webinars & photography education courses, learned from other photographers, got my hands on whatever information I could and practiced, practiced, practiced!
All that to say, I learned an incredible amount in the last 6+ years, and I am here to help! As much as a passion photography is, so is teaching others and helping them gain the knowledge and skills to do what they love too. Whether you're just starting out and want to learn the basics, or would like to grow your business and take it full time, there is a mentorship package for you.
